Multiplex has been working with BOSS Fire for over 18 months on the development of the high performance game-changing BOSS Fire® Transit Box, providing perfect timing to rollout the fire transit box in South Yarra’s newest luxury project. The BOSS Fire® Transit Box eliminates the risk of non-compliant passive fire measures at tenancy fire walls, removes wastage in labour and other scheduling costs across 417 luxury apartments.
The development of the BOSS Fire® Transit Box was championed by BOSS Managing Director Mark Prior and Technical Manager Steve Lunn.
“We have been working closely with Multiplex for 18 months on the development of the BOSS Fire® Transit Box, making sure we had all possible configurations covered and gaining approval for hyrdraulic, electrical and acoustic requirements. As it’s such a unique, game changing product though, we had to showcase the product extensively.” Mark said.
Some initial responses we received was that it was too good to be true. Thankfully, we covered all possible objections to changing away from traditional fire-stopping methods and now we’re busy saving costs and eliminating risk.
